High-Rise & Condo Moves

High-rise moves run on the building’s schedule. Most Houston towers require a freight elevator reservation, a loading dock time slot, and a certificate of insurance naming the building and its management company before movers are allowed in.

We collect those requirements when you book and send the certificate directly to management. On moving day the crew checks in at the desk, pads the freight elevator, lays floor runners from the elevator to your door, and works steadily so the move finishes inside the reserved window.

If the building only allows moves on weekdays or within short windows, we plan the crew size so the job fits. Large condos sometimes need two reservations, one for each end of the move, and we coordinate both.

Moving Within the Same Building or Complex

Moving down the hall or across the complex sounds easy until you try to carry a dresser three buildings over in August.

Same-building and same-complex moves are some of the quickest jobs we do. The crew wraps your furniture, moves it unit to unit by elevator, cart, or truck depending on the distance, and sets it up in the new apartment.

These moves often do not need a long truck drive at all, which keeps the cost down. Ask your leasing office whether the move needs an elevator reservation and when the new unit will be ready, and let us know when you book.

Storage Between Leases

Lease dates rarely line up perfectly. The old lease ends on the 30th and the new one starts on the 5th, or a condo closing slips by a week.

Instead of paying for two apartments or a self-storage unit you have to load yourself, your belongings can go into our secure Houston warehouse and come back out when the new place is ready.

Storage between apartments is often useful when:

* A condo closing is delayed.
* You are moving into a smaller apartment and keeping some furniture.
