Splendora Movers You Can Trust Since 1969

Johnnie T. Melia Moving & Storage has been the Houston area's trusted moving company since 1969, and Splendora, up US 59 in the piney woods of Montgomery County, is exactly the kind of community where a professional mover earns the drive. Splendora blends acreage homesteads, established country properties, and the new communities arriving as Houston's growth pushes north. Whether you are moving onto acreage off FM 2090, into a new build near the school district, or from Splendora to anywhere in the metro or the country, our licensed and insured movers handle every detail so you do not have to.

About Johnnie T. Melia Moving & Storage

We are not a national franchise dispatching day laborers. Every crew member is a trained, full-time employee, and every move is backed by full Texas DMV licensing (TxDMV No. 0000005457), US DOT authority (No. 436264), cargo insurance, and an ATA ProMover certification held by fewer than 10 percent of moving companies in the country. Rural properties deserve the same professional standard as any estate in the city, and that is exactly what we bring up US 59.

Our Experience Moving in Splendora

Splendora moves are country moves, and country moves reward preparation. Long gravel driveways, gates, low branches, and soft ground after rain all factor into whether a full-size truck reaches the house or a shuttle plan is smarter, and we make that call during the estimate rather than in your front yard. Acreage properties carry barns, shops, tractors’ worth of equipment, and decades of accumulated life that a walkthrough has to count honestly. At the same time, Splendora’s new communities bring conventional suburban moves with new-finish protection, and moves between the two worlds, from acreage into town or town onto land, are increasingly the signature job here. Distance never changes the standard: the same trained, full-time crews that move River Oaks estates move Splendora homesteads.
